Submitting report relative to Petition of Detroit Greek Independence Day Committee (#534), request to hold the “Detroit Greek Independence Day Parade” on April 19, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.; with temporary street closure on Monroe St. (The Buildings Safety Engineering and Environmental Department has no jurisdiction with street closures. That jurisdiction rests with the Department of Public Works. However, the Petitioner is required to secure a temporary use of land permit, comply with the provisions of Ordinance 503-H and have an inspection of electrical work performed.
